The future of 1 day car insurance

From one extreme to the other, paranormal to cutting edge science! Having looked at carinsurancefor1day.co.uk before, my first impression of seeing this newly, edited site again was positive. It immediately looked much better, fresher and more colourful. The dynamic main image I found to be very attractive and this message of using car insurance for a drive into the country, which appeals to me personally, is conveyed in an excellent fashion as well as adding colour to the site.

Perhaps the main positive difference from before was, however, breaking the main text up with sub-headings. It looks more professional. I still don’t think this main text is as strong as it could be, but it still gives enough information to interest me and stay on the site. I like the fact there are multiple opportunities to click for a free quote, especially via the main, big image at the top of the page.

The small, thumbnail images below the main image seem redundant, at first glance, because there’s no apparent text to show what they are there for. However, I still clicked on them, partly because of that and think, possibly, that each image apart from the first one could do with text. As for the texts already on some of the images, I really like the style, colour and font used. Altogether, it’s very attractive and more importantly, I feel I would click on the quote link.

Likewise, if I was coming to this site for the first time, I would be adequately impressed, by the overall feel and impression this site gives, to clink on one of the links elsewhere on this homepage. I felt particularly drawn to the top link on the left sidebar ‘Do I qualify?’, for instance. The simple, underlined link under the thumbnail images, however, ‘Get a 1 day car insurance now’ seems out of place with it being blue. Also, it may be better with ‘Get your one day car insurance now’ and even better as a button link. However, its placement in this position is very good. I think the sidebar as well is very good in its presentation and choice of links.

As said, overall, I felt there was an immediate improvement from the last time I reviewed this site. Seeing this website for the first time, I feel I would be reasonably impressed enough to explore more within the site and more importantly click on the quote link.
